The school I did my practicum experience at was Willow Brook Elementary in Oak Ridge, TN. It was established in 1944 and is the only original elementary school in it's original building. It is a title 1 school that has a free and reduced lunch percentage in the 90s. It is a K-4 school. The classroom I was in was a fourth grade class with 18 students. There were 8 girls and 10 boys. The motto of a Willow Brook student is "As a Willow Brook student I will do my best to be honest, to be courteous, to be respectful, to be responsible, and to be a hard worker at all times".
